A friend of mine told me about a week ago I should get off my butt and update the site. It has apparently been a while. So a week later, I am finally getting off my butt.

So what’s been going on?

Well, I have a new job that I start next Monday. Danielle and I just spent a nice (if a little cold and rainy) weekend at Ocean City which included a dinner at Ruth’s Chris steakhouse (our last nice dinner out for the next few years).

Other than that, just preparations for the baby. We got new carpet for the nursery and got our hand-me-down dresser from my sister this week and I got that painted yesterday. Will put some more pictures up soon. The egregiously long quest for a glider that was both comfortable and affordable finally ended last night when we found and ordered the one that we want.

Danielle’s shower is this weekend so we’re getting ready for that and getting the house cleaned and put together for her mom’s visit.

So Danielle and I were talking the other day and I realized that our due date is in less than three months. Yikes! Lot’s to do.

Things are going well and we’re getting our to do list slightly under control. The baby is fine and healthy and everything looks good. New ultrasound pictures are available in the Albums section.

We’ve also (finally) just about finished our registry. We are registered at Babies R Us and Target.

We’ll try to post some more ‘belly pictures’ today or tomorrow once Danielle selects the ones she wants to post.
